
Ponta do Ouro is a town in the extreme south of Mozambique, lying on the Mozambique Channel, south of Maputo and just north of the border with South Africa. The name is Portuguese for “tip of gold”, referring to a cape at the southern part of the beach.
Incredible diving and snorkeling , divers are often treated to dolphin and whale sightings on the way to the dive sites.
Just a hop across the border, Passports are mandatory, and those travelling with Children will need an unabridged birth certificate.

4×4 is not mandatory as its tar road all the way to Ponta do Ouro. However depending on accommodation location, some areas do require the use of 4×4 or 2×4 and diff lock.
Dive sites cater for all levels of diver from the beginners reef like Creche to Atlantis and Pinnacles to cater for the deep diver.

The Guest house is perfectly situated in the centre of Ponta Do Ouro, Mozambique, is a 2 minute walk from the beach and close to Gozo Azul charters, restaurants and bars. Planet Scuba Guest house offers guests a comfortable stay in double, twin or triple bedrooms which are air-conditioned with en-suite bathrooms with breakfast included at the onsite restaurant and bar.
Wi-fi internet access is available and rooms are serviced daily.
